PEST CONTROL
If you have pest problems, please contact the Office at 481-2326 to schedule an appointment for Tuesday or Thursday.

TRASH COLLECTION
Place trash at curb (not in front of mailbox) by 9 AM on
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Do Not put trash out the night before.
Please use plastic bags heavy enough to hold the weight of the trash.
No cardboard or moving cartons.

LARGE ITEMS - Carpet. Padding. Appliances, etc.
Arrange to have the contractor remove the items. If they will not take the items, please call the Office at 481-2326 to arrange for disposal.

RECYCLE COLLECTION
Please use the blue bin for recycles. Pickup is on Wednesdays only.
Blue bin must be at the curb by 9 AM Wednesday Morning.
DO NOT put your recycle bin out the night before. (Paper and other items may blow out and leave trash all over the yards.) (updated 02.02.15)
Cans and bottles should be washed and lids removed.
Do NOT place bin near the mailbox.
Corrugated cardboard boxes should be flattened and tied.
Place heavier items on top to avoid lighter items blowing out.

ITEMS TO BE RECYCLED
GLASS: Green, clear and brown bottles and jars
PLASTIC: All rigid containers with #1-7 on the bottom
METAL: Cans and empty aerosol cans
ALUMINUM: Cans, clean foil and pie pans
PAPER: Magazines, flattened corrugated cardboard, all of the newspaper, brown grocery bags, telephone books, catalogs, cereal boxes, gift boxes, shoe boxes, junk mail, and beverage boxes.

SAFETY FIRST

When riding bicycles in the evening, please use reflectors in front and behind the bike. If possible, the use of a small headlight shows significantly to get the attention of oncoming vehicles.

Walkers on the street should have reflective material on them so that they too are in full view of vehicles. Even at 20 mph, a driver may not be able to react quick enough to avoid hitting you.

Helpful hint: Use shoes that you remove after your walks on the street. The oils from the blacktop collect on the soles of the shoes and will damage all types of flooring, be it carpet or tile.
